Some easy (and quiet) exercises you can do from your bed
- Leg raises
All you gotta do is lay on your side and being your leg up as close as you can to a 90° angle. Don’t worry if it’s not the full 90, you’ll get more flexible as you keep on doing them. Repeat this however many times you want (and don’t forget to do the same on the other leg). This loses fat on your inner thighs mostly
- Sit-ups / Crunches
If you’re just starting off then I’d advise you to do sit ups. Sit ups are where you lay on your back and your legs folded in half and your feet on the ground is the best I can describe it (sorry I’m pretty shit at explaining things). Then you cross your arms over your chest (like a corpse) and pull your whole upper body up to touch your knees, then lay back down. Repeat as desired.
Crunches are in the exact same position as a sit up, only instead on going up to your knees, you go up to a 45° angle (halfway) and don’t lay back down when you go down. This is obviously harder because you can’t lay down after one.
Both these work on your core (stomach) area
- Tricep dips
These are killer for me haha. What you need to do is get on the edge of your bed and stick your legs straight out so it’s just your heels resting on the floor. Now put your hands on the edge on the bed and hold it kinda, with your palms down. Now all you gotta do is dip down and pull yourself up by your arms. This works on your arms and core
- Press-ups
It’s fine if you can’t do a full press up, this is an easier option. Get into the press up position but instead of having your hands on the floor, have them on the edge of your bed. Now just start doing what you do in a regular press up. This will relieve some of the weight, whilst still getting the benefits of a regular press up. This works on your arms and your core.
- Scissor kicks
All you gotta do is lay down on your back, and do little kicks upwards. But don’t let your feet touch the bed otherwise it defeats the whole purpose of the activity. This works on your core and your legs.
I hope this helps anyone who’s struggling to exercise. Stay safe honeys x
If you’re confused about any of these just look them up on Google, they’ll be like the first result :)
