TIPS
General
- Make Rules For Yourself
- Drink a LOT of water
- Keep track of calories
- Sleep more
- Keep a list of safe foods and bad foods
- Use measuring tape more often than a scale
- Standing and Eating burns more calories
- Use small dark coloured plates
- Don’t take laxatives
- Keep Good Posture
- Have excuses ready
- Get yourself an ana friend
- Weigh yourself once a day in the morning
- Tie a piece of string around your waist and another for what you want your waist size to be, keep it on your wrists or ankles like a bracelet
- Set Goals For Yourself
- Take Vitamins
Hiding Your Ed
Medical
- Chew Gum- Eating Disorders Give you bad breath
- Invest in good shampoo and conditioner
- Keep your nails painted
- Your skin will become dry, so be sure to use a lot of lotion where needed and take multivitamins
- At a certain weight you will lose your period, don’t tell anyone and have a believable date in your head in
case you go to a doctor- Your body will start to cover itself in fine hairs, to get rid of them simply shave, wax or use hair removal
cream- Dehydration speeds up tooth decay, because you won’t have enough protective enzymes in your mouth to prevent the saliva from doing damage to your teeth. Don’t restrict liquids.
- Dress warmly enough to keep warm without making it obvious.
Excuses:
- Say that you don’t like that particular food.
- You have a sore throat. (use wisely)
- Just say that you don’t feel well
- Say that you forgot your lunch. Be sure to disopse of it earlier in the day though.
- I already ate
- I can’t eat that it looks disgusting
- I have to do homework
Etc:
- Don’t eat dinner, then come down later and pretend to make some food
- Hide your food in a bag, pockets, etc
- Wake up late to skip breakfast
- Give out all your food at lunch
- The more that you insist that you’re fat, the more likey people are going to become suspicious.
- Your body often mistakes thirst for hunger.
- The artificial sweeteners like those in diet soda have been shown in studies to promote the body storing belly fat. And some have been linked to brain tumors.
When You’re Hungry
Avoiding Food
- Take Heart Burn Pills When You’re Super Super Hungry
- Hit The Lower Part Of Your Stomach If It’s Growling
- Coffee and Tea are your best friends
- Keep food out of sight
- Have excuses ready
- Find activities and say you ate there
- Dispose of foods that tempt you
- Dispose of foods you have hidden
- Check the fridge when nobody else is around. Find foods that you would have eaten and get rid of them.
- When you go out, take very little money or only enough to buy whatever non-food item you plan on buying. This will make it harder to buy food on impulse.
- Strip off naked in front of a mirror and look at yourself
- Chew on some ice
- Your body burns about 8 calories per glass of ice water trying to get it up to a temperature in which it can be processed
When Eating
- Eat Peppermint, It’s An Appetite Curber. It Does Have Cals Tho.
- Drink a LOT of water
- Avoid Oil and Butter
- Eat Denser Food
- Think before you eat
- Don’t eat distracted
- Never eat anything bigger then a cup
- Set a time you cant eat past or before
- Never eat in secret
- Drink water before eating
- Spicy foods raise metabolism
- Never eat anything bigger than a cup
- Don’t eat a lot at once
- Chew your food more
- Only eat around other people
- Only eat until you’re satisfied
- Every Calorie Counts, remove ingredients from recipes when you can
- Eat Veggies first, then protein, and lastly carbs
- Avoid Dairy when possible
- Drink a shot of apple cider vinegar before eating
- Never eat out of a box or jar
- Always order sauces on the side
- Avoid condiments if you can
- Find Low Cal Foods Your Enjoy
- Blotting greasy foods like bacon and pizza with a napkin can save you about 100 calories.
- Use baby utensils to prevent overeating
Cravings:
- Have a shower
- Do some exercise
- Go To bed early
- Drink warm water – it fills you up
- Watch America’s Next Top Model
- Look at thinspo
- Read Meanpso/sweetspo
- Listen to Ana music
- Read some ana quotes
- Read a book about anorexia
- Watch an anorexia documentary or movie on youtube
- Visit pro ana websites
- Eat some hot sauce
- It takes about 20 minutes for your body to feel full from the time that you first put a bite of food into your mouth.
Exercising
- Break your exercise up into smaller 5-15 minute blocks. It’s easier to stomach that way.
- Quietly exercise
- Exercise when you wake up at night
- Exercise in the shower
- Exercise before/after using the bathroom
- Endurance exercises should be done more
- As soon as you wake up in the morning workout for at least 30min to an hour. Studies show that working out in the morning has been shown to burn up to 3 times as more fat as opposed to working out at any other time during the day.
- Walk 10,000 steps a day & lose an extra 10 pounds a year
- Before beginning to do any type of exercise the first thing you should do is warm yourself up.
- Practicing Yoga positions is also a very healthy habit and helps in burning the extra fat.
