• Have a pre-planned theme in mind, other than just ‘thinspo’. For example, if you love nature, make your journal nature-themed. You can always make a new journal, later, with a different theme and color palette
• Take inspiration from the “studyblr” style of bullet journaling
• Practice your calligraphy skills so that you can have pretty writing in your journal
• Try to make it look a decorative scrapbook, if that’s your thing
• Use brighter colors to decorate; excessive amounts of dark/dull colors will promote a gloomy and unimpressed/unmotivated mood in our brains
• Use polaroids pictures, from time to time
• Stickers can be your best friend, if they’re a good quality
• Use an ink pad and stamps to decorate, if you don’t know how to / don’t like to draw
• Try to make page completely different and unique, while also expressing yourself through the pages
• Make sure to write your SW, CW, GW & UGW
• Include before and after photos! Put the ‘before’ photo on the first page, and save the last page for when you hit your ugw. Its very motivating!
• If you want to make it artsy, invest in some good mildliners, calligraphy pens, ballpoint pens and fineliners
• Include pictures of some of your favorite thinspo models / actors / actresses / etc
• Write down the Instagram / social media of your favorite thinspirations, using a decorative wiring style
• Go on YouTube to learn different ways to write for bullet journaling, and then use your favorites in your thinspo journal
• From time to time, dedicate one page SOLELY to quotes that motivate you to lose weight and hit your goal weight (E.G. “Eat for the size that you want to be”)
• If you decide to draw in your journal, practice what you want to draw on a separate piece of paper, beforehand
• If you love the holidays, try making your next thinspo journal holiday-themed!
• Dedicate a page or two to low-cal and safe foods that you want to try, have tried, or are going to try. You can also decorate the pages with cute doodles of pretty foods!
• If you’re someone who likes to start up new journals every time you finish one, try making them themed according to the season! Include seasonal low-cal recipes, seasonal drawings and color palettes, seasonal thinsp photos, etc
• You can use a printer and print out your favorite thinspo photos
• You can find a lot of clearance DIY / decorating supplies at Hobby Lobby & Michaels
i know this tips & hacks can seem super obvious sometimes if you had an ed for quite a while but it can still help some people so i’m sharing them (it would definitely saved my ass and avoided me the nightmare that was ed clinic if i had known that sooner lol)
⚡️ fortifying shampoo. the lack of nutriment can cause you to lose your hair so use fortifying/repairing/weak hair shampoo.
⚡️ oils. oils not only help fortifying your hair but also makes it soft&shiny & healthier in general. the bests are coconut oil, castor oil and argan oil.
⚡️ hair minimizing lotion/cream. your body is going to produce more hair to keep you warm and you’re gonna have to shave more often. use hair minimizing products to space out the shaving.
⚡️ antiperspirant. not the same thing as deodorant: deodorant block the smell and antiperspirant block the sweat. some people tends to sweat/smell more if they don’t shave, if that’s your case try to combine your deodorant with an antiperspirant for more efficiency.
⚡️ nail polish. like your hair, your nails are also weaker due to the lack of nutriment & they will discolor, you can protect them by applying a fortifying base coat before putting your nail polish. also you can wear nail polish to hide the discoloration of your nails.
food & drinks:
🌙 stay hydrated! drink at least 1L of water per day. however drinking too much water can cause you water intoxication so be careful.
🌙 try to always eat something for breakfast, even if it’s just like 50-100 calories it will help your body wait until your next meal. i personally have more chances to binge later through the day if i skip breakfast.
🌙 always have a snack on you! this is the most important tip i can give you, it’s to always have something to eat on you. just like for your breakfast even if it’s just 50-100 calories it’s still enough. keep it in case you feel dizzy/about to faint.
🌙 if you feel dizzy/about to faint, eat! even if you’re fasting, even if it’s going to be above your calories limit for the day, it’s better not to faint + you can burn it off later. fainting if you’re alone can be dangerous (if you hit your head while falling or something?) and fainting in public can get you caught (that’s what happened to me, don’t do like me kids).
🌙 detox water. if you’re ever bored of plain, basic water (if you do water fast then you know how boring it gets) try detox water. basically you just put fruits/vegetables in your water and you let it infuse.
🌙 tea, diet soda and gums. the holy trinity, the holy graal of every ana, they’re literally your best friends: almost to no calories, taste good, cheap and easy to find. i thank god everyday for them.
🌙 vitamins. you can find them in pharmacy and most of them don’t require a medical prescription.
so yeah that’s it, i’m sorry if this is a bit short i can’t think of anything else for now? but i’ll add more by the time don’t worry.
⤷ remember that these tips are for me, and me only. i could not be held responsible if you decided to follow them as well, so please be careful. ⤶
⭐ microwave food around people then take it to your room and throw it away, everyone will think you eat all the time.
⭐ don’t suddenly wear baggy clothes to hide weight especially if this isn’t your usual style of clothing, layer clothing instead.
⭐ say you ate with a friend or when you were out.
⭐ press on your stomach when it grumbles. if people hear it, say you ate recently and it’s still digesting.
⭐ get rid of food in the fridge when no one is around so it looks like you’ve eaten.
⭐ say you are allergic to certain food or than you are vegetarian or vegan or that you only eat gluten free food.
⭐ eat a tiny piece of onion or a pinch of garlic powder so your breath will smell like you ate.
⭐ if you don’t have your periods anymore, make sure you still continue buying/asking for tampons/pads and just carry them with you in case a friend needs one.

⭐ take sun, you always look healthier when you’re tan.
⭐ before going to the doctor, drink tons of water, also load up your pockets with spare change or rolls of change. you can also sew quarters or other small weighted objects into your underwear or bra. if you’re deperate, you can wear ankle weights under your pants but if you’re discovered it’s a dead giveaway and probably not worth it.
⭐ talk / post on social media about fitness a lot so people will think you’re just thin from exercise and healthy
